This pattern comes with instructions to make a Watermelon themed outfit for a Doll, and it includes a Dress, Boots, a Sun Hat, and a Headband.

This pattern comes with instructions that you can use with the Doll Body pattern by Crafty Intentions to make a Watermelon Doll. This pattern DOES NOT INCLUDE THE DOLL BODY.

All instructions are carefully depicted with words and photos! This pattern features clear step by step instruction with a lot of row-by-row photos. The gauge is not crucial to the pattern as long as the stitches are tight enough to hold stuffing.

This pattern is a total of 50 pages containing a full set of written instructions with photographic illustrations, and there are video tutorials for particular steps and stitches available on my YouTube channel. This Pattern consists of ONE PDF File, and the last 11 pages include 8 pages of Text-Only, Printer-Friendly instructions and 3 pages of the EU Safety and Compliance Document, but I strongly recommend you still refer to the photographic illustrations throughout the pattern if you have any questions.

Yarn, in worsted weight, all amounts are approximate:

(This pattern requires a range of 367 to 432 yards of worsted/medium/4 weight yarn, depending on whether hat or headband is used)

Dress:

Pink: 250 yds

White: 22 yds

Light Green: 21 yds

Dark Green: 17 yds

(310 yds total)

Boots:

Pink: 21 yds for two

White: 6 yds for two

Light Green: 8 yds for two

Dark Green: 6 yds for two

(41 yds total)

Sun Hat:

Pink: 60 yds

White: 7 yds

Light Green: 7 yds

Dark Green: 7 yds

Headband:

Light Green: 11 yds

Darning Needle

Black yarn, puff paint, rhinestones, or beads for “seeds”

Though it is not explicitly explained in this pattern, you could also attach black pony beads directly to the dress as you crochet it to simulate watermelon seeds.
