Pegasus Pattern

Crafty Intentions CROCHET PATTERN Pegasus (printable PDF-file / 60 + 35 + 54 + 18 + 41 pages)

Developed by Megan Lapp aka Crafty Intentions, this pattern is for a Pegasus!!! This pattern is written in U.S. terminology.

This powerful flying horse is ready to take flight! The effect is amigurumi-like, though there are some distinct techniques used that are not used in single crochet-only amigurumi. The gauge is not crucial to the pattern as long as the stitches are tight enough to hold stuffing. This is a beautiful soft-sculpture pattern with hundreds of photos in a detailed written instruction pattern!

This pattern is a total of 208 pages containing a full set of written instructions with photographic illustrations, and diagrams. There is a fifth PDF (41 total pages) with a full set of printer-friendly, text-only instructions from all four sets of instructions, but I strongly recommend you still refer to the photographic illustrations throughout the pattern if you have any questions.

SIZE

A Pegasus from this pattern is 13 inches tall from head to hoof, 12 inches long from nose to rump, 4.5 inches wide from shoulder to shoulder, and at least 14 inches from wing base to wing tip without stretching them out fully.

SUPPLY LIST

Total Yarn approximately between 1000 and 1200 yards for all parts

One pair of safety eyes, for worsted weight recommended 20 mm size

15 pieces of 18 inch 18 Gauge Paper Stem Wire (Found in the Faux Floral arrangement section of any craft store) - Or any strong 18 gauge wire of the above length.

Polyfil Stuffing

Duct Tape

G (4.25/4.5mm) hook & E (3.5mm) Hook

Optional: Two Standard Sized Glass gems for the bottom of each Hoof.
