Crafty Intentions CROCHET PATTERN Unicorn Mermaid (printable PDF-file / 63 pages)

Developed by Megan Lapp aka Crafty Intentions, this pattern is for a Mermaid Unicorn! A Hippocampus! A Hippocamp! A Mermicorn! A Unimaid! A Horse Mermaid! A Water Horse! A Sea Horse Unicorn! This pattern is written in U.S. terminology.

This sweet, sleek Hippocampus poised to slip away into the ocean without a sound! The effect is amigurumi-like, though there are some distinct techniques used that are not used in single crochet-only amigurumi. The gauge is not crucial to the pattern as long as the stitches are tight enough to hold stuffing. The perfect toy for a girl or boy, young or old!

This pattern is 63 pages long. The last 17 pages of the PDF are a text-only printer-friendly version of the pattern. To conserve on printer ink, you can selectively print these pages. However, I strongly recommend you still refer to the photographic illustrations throughout the pattern if you have any questions.

A Mermaid Unicorn from this pattern is approximately 11 inches tall from Hoof to Top of the Head (without Horn), about 4 inches wide from left to right side, and about 28 inches long from nose to the end of the Tail Fin.

One pair of safety eyes, for worsted weight recommended 16 mm size

G (4.25/4.5mm) hook & E (3.5mm) Hook

Optional: Two Standard Sized Glass gems for the bottom of each Hoof.
